This hotel in the heart of Old Cairo exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the rooms, with their Egyptian charm and stylish furnishings, really made me feel like I was staying in a fort. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast, with its Oriental and Continental options, was a delight to enjoy while taking in the beautiful view of the city. And the location, right in the Khan el Khalili Bazaar area, was unbeatable - surrounded by vibrant cobblestone streets, shops, street vendors.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were just okay.

The rooms in this boutique hotel were nicely decorated and had a lot of space. The breakfast options were good and the view of the city was beautiful. The location of the hotel was great, with lots of shops and street vendors nearby.
The noise at night was unbearable and kept us awake. It was also a bit difficult to navigate the building, as it had a lot of stairs and a tiny elevator.

The hotel is conveniently located close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area and try out different dining options. You can also visit a 200, year, old coffee shop nearby, immersing yourself in the rich history of the neighborhood.
Despite the overall positive experience, the language barrier with some of the staff members can cause frustration at times. Communication issues may arise, leading to misunderstandings and delays in service.

Had an amazing Christmas at this unique hotel! Loved the personalized decor in the rooms and the delicious local food served at the rooftop restaurant. the staff were incredibly helpful, offering car service and great advice on exploring the charming neighborhood equipped with antique shops and small cafes.
The lack of comfortable beds and occasional noise from outside dampened my sleep. the electrical sockets were outdated and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
